The Septation Initiation Network (SIN) controls cytokinesis in fission yeast. This model uses CDK activity levels as control nodes to simutate SIN related events throughout different stages of the cell cycle. This model was optimized using single knock-out experiments and has made in silico predictions that have been validated in vivo, offering new insights into regulation of the SIN.
